    Pros

Great industry. excellent business ideas. Lack of ability to execute.

    Cons

How many Re-Orgs can a company do?? Just when you start to learn your newest position, it is time for the company to fire key players or Re-Organize.... Again. If person after person keps failing in a specific position, it is no longer about the person, it is about unrealistic expectations, or an inability to coach and manage your team. If you do work here.... Lay low.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to mentor people into their roles, learn how to support them at becoming better at their jobs. Set clear realistic expectations and REWARD excellent employees so they stay. Quit firing anyone who challenges the leaders to be better.

    Pros

Amazing Plano office, great company to work for. Work/Life balance could not be better.

    Cons

No consistency between departments - heavy politics in some. VERY top heavy, 3 - 4 layers of management between engineers and decision makers.

    Advice to Management

Middle management needs to understand current (within the last 25 years) trends of software development shops and not employ micro-managing style. It's understandable that this company was built off of acquisition, but there needs to be synergy amongst the teams. You need to trust your engineers and business analysts to do their jobs, and to hire the ones that you can trust.
