I have been working at Medica HealthCare Plans full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good employee moral, nice employees for the most part, they do activities to show employee appreciation, pretty decent pay.

    Cons

Customers aka "members" - Just like any job working with customers via phone, you tend to get yelled at pretty frequently. STATS - again like most CS jobs. They watch your numbers pretty closely. Calls per minute, call time, after call time, aux time, etc. It's just a pain like all CS stat watching chained to a phone cubical jobs.

    Advice to Management

I understand that there need to be some sort if matrix for quality, but they could lay off the stats a little. It's bad when you end up on a 30 minute call where you're trying to help a member resolve a problem, but all you can think of is that your stats for the day are being destroyed. You start to wonder if your job is in the line.

Management does not hear from employees rather get feedback from contractors.
    Lots of bureaucracy and politics..
    Management should trust the employees.

    Advice to Management
