I worked at Men's Wearhouse full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great loyalty to employees. Lot of promotion from within opportunities. They still try to make work fun!

Cons

Distance- I worked at the corporate office, and it was just too long a commute.

Advice to Management

Please keep up the great environment and don't go tooooo systems oriented.

I worked at Men's Wearhouse part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management was nice. I never saw anyone get yelled at for doing something wrong. Cow-workers were nice, albeit very fake. Casual environment, can use your phone and bring food and drinks. Learning the job was easy and everyone in the store was helpful.

    Cons

Shortly after I was hired they hired two other CSAs leaving all five of the CSAs to fight for hours, which ended up meaning we all got between 12 and 20 hours a week. I was not seeking full-time employment, but I was told in interview to expect 30 hours a week.

Often customers were dissatisfied with their tux rentals because we either measured wrong or we were sent the wrong sizes. Also there are a lot of hidden fees in the rentals so when you are booking a wedding and tell the couple how much it will be, they were often shocked, wanting to know how their order for the $99 rental really ended up being $169. It is stressful trying to force such sales rather than try to show how the higher end tuxes are finer quality.
