    Pros

Mentor Graphics is a stable company that has weathered some storms and come out just fine. The environment is generally professional but not particularly innovative.

    Cons

Your experience at Mentor Graphics is very dependent on the division you are a part of. Each division is highly independent. From a candidate perspective it might as well be its own company. Base your decision on feedback from others in the the division you are considering.

    Pros

    Great and very bright people
    Interesting product
    Decent benefits (but under pressure)
Nice offices and good infrastructure and tools

    Cons

Leadership is aging, very autocratic and concentrated with the President (who is also the CFO and COO)
Company is relying on just a few products to be profitable
