      Pros

      Flexible working hours. Some sharp colleagues.

      Cons

      Complete dysfunction at every level (individual, team, strategic); decisions made with no transparency. Core aspects of the business are not being invested in. Mercari had a lot of promise once but is thoroughly squandering it.

      Pros

      Great direct management, team culture, growth opportunities. great worklife balance. The people are what makes this work so enjoyable.

      Cons

      The larger japanese company is the boss after all. US team switches up working structure & company priorities & strategies very frequently based on direction from japan team.

      Great benefits, and a majority of coworkers from various departments are fantastic and creative.

      Multiple directors have major egos and very little respect for those under them in the org.
