Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Mercer full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Variety of projects, variety of personalities, majority of people are very intelligent. Top notch consultants.

Cons

Can easily work 80-90 hours a week. Billable hours, revenue brought in, revenue managed -- all goals keep going up.
Lots of egos.
Old school management.

Advice to Management

Find ways to reduce turnover instead of burning employees out and just replacing them and having to start over again.

I worked at Mercer full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work life balance - work from home as much as u want for some
Nice people to work with, most are friendly
    The cafe is great
Decent base pay but bonus not that great

    Cons

The company is losing money like crazy. Get ready for more of this, "As part of our profitability improvement plan, we must ensure we have the most effective organizational model possible to serve our clients, optimize resources, and minimize costs. To help us achieve this goal, we have made the very difficult decision to implement a reduction-in-force in the US business." Layoffs are going to be around for a while until the right the ship

    Advice to Management

Put a plan in place and stick to it. Go easy on the poor suckers who stay around for the next 3+ years while a new H&B system is put in place
