Pros

Flexible schedule. Ability to work at home when necessary.

Cons

Lack of feedback on performance, minimal praise for good/exceptional work. Feeling of unappreciation by management.

Advice to Management

Acknowledge good work. Don't surprise staff at review time with negative feedback. If there is an issue bring it up to give a chance to make improvements.

    Pros

    Very focused markets and customers.

    Cons

Old technology. No new products that fit customer requirements.
    Inexperienced senior management.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate 1998 approach to defense market and implement it again. The current model (or people) isn't (aren't) working.

I have been working at Mercury Systems full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am in the honeymoon phase with Mercury Systems. They are a dynamic and versatile group of people with high energy, ambitious goals, and focus. Employees understand the mission, vision, and values of the organization and want to be sure they use the right behaviors to achieve results. Corporate leadership invests the time, energy and funding necessary to develop the employees and the business.

    Cons

I have no cons to post.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be vigilant and tireless in supporting and communicating the mission, vision, and values of the corporation. This is a cornerstone of creating and sustaining a great corporate culture. Great companies and great cultures are based on trust; they take time and daily reinforcement to grow.
