    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Mercy College part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The staff are welcoming and helpful, and I have found the students to be highly motivated, inquisitive, and respectful.

    Cons

I have found none thus far.

    Advice to Management

The school administration continues to enhance the on-campus technology, which is wonderful for both faculty and student experiences.

I worked at Mercy College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Generous vacation, sick, and personal time
If you have to work on the weekend, you get a day off during the week
Easy to have a work life balance
Great job if you have little experience working in higher education to get your foot in the door
    Generous tuition remission

    Cons

The turnover rate is abysmal, many employees have been there a year or less
There is no system in place to train new employees, each campus does it differently
Only a handful of people have been there for more than a few years and they are normally in higher positions because of all the turnover
Assistant and associate directors more often than not are too young and inexperienced for their roles
Management is not supportive of their employees, they yes you to death when you have new ideas and do not follow up with them
Salary is not competitive with schools in the area

    Advice to Management

The admissions office and PACT are too large and could easily be downsized, which would lead to less turnover within the department and you could pay your employees a more competitive salary
