I have been working at MeridianLink full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Work life balance is good; never received any push back for taking time off.

    Cons

When I started a few years ago, it was pretty obvious that there was massive room for advancement. Anyone who had worked here for at least 5 years was in some type of management or leadership position. Following the acquisition by a private equity firm and merger with another entity in mid-2018, that no longer appears to be the case. It is extremely difficult to transfer to another department and it is apparent that...

    Advice to Management

Honestly, there's not much they can do at this point. They are on a path towards another private equity investment in the next 5 years or an IPO. It's no longer a scrappy startup company; it's a corporate firm with multiple layers of bureaucracy and management that are primarily accountable to the board, not to the customers/clients.

Job growth. The knowledge you learn here will transfer to other roles at other fintech companies.

    Cons

Work is demanding but that's not unique to MeridianLink and this line of business.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at MeridianLink full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great coworkers, decent benefits, monthly company lunches, some recent modernization

    Cons

New management is driving the company into the ground and employees are finally starting to see right through the empty promise of better days to come. Expect limited salary increases, stunted upwards growth, very high turnover, endlessly-growing backlogs but no resources to conquer them, micromanagement from new bosses who know nothing about processes and products, zero regard to employees' mental health, and recurring...
