I worked at Mesa Air full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The travel benefits are great. There are always co-workers who are just as geeky and nerdy about commercial aviation. Airports are non stop action and the quickest work day you will ever have.

Cons

The pay is low for anyone who needs to support a family. Great for college kids or the non bread winner of the household. Mesa is notorious for being cheap and not having the tools for employees to do their jobs effectively. There always seems to be strife between management and the labor groups.

Advice to Management

A technological upgrade for the entire industry would be nice. SHARES, SABRE and Apollo are so inefficient considering what is available today. Airlines have been profitable since 2010. Retool now while traffic is high and gas prices are stable.

I worked at Mesa Air full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Interview was straight forward, some what would you do questions and some technical. Overall it is an OK starting point but it is not somewhere I would want to stay very long.

    Cons

Company is not organized, will try to take advantage of you whenever possible and pay as little as possible

    Advice to Management

    Be honest with your employees.
