    I worked at Microsoft as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Best internship program in the world. Interns get special events: Intern Signature Event was a concert with Macklemore and DeadMau5 and the Intern Gift was a Surface Pro. Intern Speaker Series with Execs. Intern Day of Care (Volunteering). Mt Rainier Hike. Free tickets to Sounders and Mariners games.

    Microsoft has many businesses and products to work in: OS, Mobile, Productivity Software, Search Engine, Cloud, Business Solutions, Car Software, etc.

    Three roles to chose from: PM, Dev, Test.

    People. The interns I met are some of the most amazing people friends I have.

    Seattle is beautiful during the summer.

    The pay is great.

    Cons

    Each teams operates a bit differently. Your experience could vary from team to team.

    A uncommitted manager could ruin your work experience.

    Some parts of Microsoft are falling behind their competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Bring Sinofsky back.
