I have been working at MillerCoors full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Free beer, good people, decent pay. Great job to learn tricks of alcohol trade in. You will meet some great contacts.

Cons

The company has gone downhill since the merger, classic large company. No long term focus the only thing that matters is short term results. Domestic beer is on a long continual slide due to craft beer, wine and liquor yet their response is to keep raising prices. They recently laid people off and I see more in the future.

Way to much middle management.

Advice to Management

Profits matter but so does development. Stop reinventing the wheel every 3 months.

I worked at MillerCoors as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

4 days on 4 days off, good training program, great team atmosphere, nice entry level pay, great introduction to the manufacturing career paths.

    Cons

The rotating schedule is not for an individual that needs a strict Monday to Friday job. The rotating night to day shift is not ideal. No benefits when working as contractor.
