I have been working at MillerCoors full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great company to work for with a ton of potential. Potential lies in the fact that the company (the JV, that is) is still fairly young and there are plenty of "kinks" to work out with being a new company. This is a pro for people that are driven and focused on implementing efficiency and process improvements. There are plenty to be had!

Cons

The outdated use of various systems throughout procurement and financial reporting.

    I have been working at MillerCoors full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    The culture is open with interaction to upper management is available through the local pubs for those that can converse over a beer. The relocation benefits can be very good if you are the right level. Performance management has gotten better over the years. You also get free beer every month!

    Cons

    The culture is mixed as there are still 2 cultures within the organization after the Joint Venture. Different factions have different values and there are definitely factions within the organization still fighting for power. There is still an "us" and "them" mentality that exists and it depends on which city you are based in. There are not enough people in operations and the breweries are struggling to make ends meet.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your high performers what they are worth before they leave the company for a competitor.

    Pros

    Lots of development opportunities, room for growth, salary fair, multiple locations to choose from with various opportunities.

    Cons

    Innovation, benefits are expensive and some sr mngmnet need to value millennial input more and allow for creative ways of doing business.

    Advice to Management

    Senior Mngmnet really should be evaluated on a frequent basis and ensure they are being effective.
