Pros

People were smart and passionate.
Plenty of client interaction.
Good way to learn about media industry.
Media Vendors tend to wine and dine you.

Cons

2008-09 was a bad time for the industry. Clients were cutting back on ad spends and poor management meant that the agency lost key accounts.

Advice to Management

Situation in Asia was not handled well. There was a lot of uncertainty and mixed messages coming from upper management. Communication should have been more transparent.

    Pros

    Overall, Mindshare is a great place to work. It's employees are knowledgeable and are great teachers in the field of media. Great benefits and time off.

    Cons

    It is hard to get a raise. I have heard that many people enter high on the pay scale and then its tough to get anything more out of them after that. Can have long hours, but it truly depends on the account you work on.

    Advice to Management

    Offer greater incentives to your lower level employees to keep them interested and feel wanted. Performance reviews should be re-implemented on a yearly basis so employees can be compensated correctly with inflation.
