I experienced unethical leadership and poor management at Mindspace, making it a workplace I would not recommend. Poor career growth, and repeatedly promises raises that never materialize, making it a workplace I do not recommend.

Competitive salary, beautiful workspaces, efficient hiring process

Mindspace talks a big game to prospective employees but fails to deliver across all fronts. Management is spread out globally which means there is very little in-person interaction with higher-ups. Teams are left high and dry which leads to frustration, especially in stricter markets were there are stricter procedures and protocols (especially for vendors and operators) that must be adhered to. Mindspace Management has a completely flippant attitude toward building managers; as a leasee themselves, Mindspace fails to follow protocol for union-mandated labor and puts their employees in extremely uncomfortable situations. Lying, going behind building management's back, and deceit are the name of the game. There are virtually no standard operating procedures to speak of; budgeting, reporting, and leasing procedures are flimsily administered. Area management belittles, nitpicks, and demeans new hires which creates an exclusionary, harmful environment on-site. In addition, career opportunities are slim and work/life balance is abysmal. Mindspace is a textbook example of a scrappy start-up that places its full value in the almighty dollar. Stay far away from this company.
