Pros

Good Company for learning.
Some of your concerns will be considered.

Most of the people will compromise for many things like salary, promotions etc as they like and love company.

Cons

Very Very Very Poor and worst Middle Management.

I recommend MindTree as best company when
either your role is a project manager or above, other wise you should not play politic with middle management by praising them for their donkey jobs and talks.

If you your role is less than a project manager think twice about stupid middle management and decide to join. Especially for Onsite and Chennai locations.

Most of the middle managers are idiots and they feel that they are superiors and they talk like the are the gods ruling the company.
Though senior management is good they wont focus on changing these middle managers.

Many people leave MindTree not for better salary/ better oppertunity, most of the people will compromise for many things like salary, promotions etc as they like and love company. but finally because of the middle management they will MindTree.

Advice to Management

Not only focusing on improving the company business, also please focus on middle management harrasements also so that, you reduce iteration.

You can bring more and new business when you have best LEADERS not BOSSES.

Try to understand the good peoples concerns while they are leaving and try to change the middile management or educate the middle management how to treat employees.

In single sentence tell middle management to "Be as LEADER rather than as a BOSS"

    Pros

    1. Its different from all other services firms, in all aspects Remuneration, benefits, care and management.
    1. Its like a sleeping firm, no one cars what you do if you are not so skilled you can sit there like a rat.
    2. There is proper performance review system so you can always survive.
    3. You can give Gifts to your managers and get promotions ...so if you want a fast growth find a good manager how is not too greedy .

    Cons

    1. If you are really talented, this is not the place to be .
    2. Every day a new rule, new condition.
    3. There is no Employee Handbook, they dont follow their own rules .
    4. You join in US as US employee and you will get a 600 Rs bonus at end of year from India converted to $ .
    5. Terrible shockingly Immature manages
    6. Its more eating shop them a software services firm.

    Advice to Management

    1. Improve your management Style, Try to hire and train more mature managers .
    2. Stop Showing bias to White Elephants sitting and just getting promoted doing nothing.
    3. Recognized skill and ability not how many years is he with Mindtree .
    4. What did he do for Mindtree , Platform and Society should be more valued than how many years at mindtree.
