Pros

Everyone really works together to help out. It is always fun to go to work since it is a happy time for all conerned. Also, training is good and a great place to start when going back into the workplace.

Cons

They work 365 days p/year.

Advice to Management

starting salary should be at least $10 with bonuses instead of commissions. Bonuses should be easily attainable, not out of reach.

    Pros

As a photographer the chance to practice my skill on newborns and families.

    Cons

Pay and lack of support. If I was'nt already a photographer then training would'nt be fit to do what we need to do.

    Advice to Management

    better pay and understanding

    Pros

-This in an in-home baby photography company. It is convenient and the photographers are high-quality. People receive a free photo shoot and then we are supposed to sell them packages a few days later online.
    - It is nice to be selling something people care about: helping them preserve childhood memories.
    - Recently the company has switched to internet sales which is good. (Previously we had to drive house to house all over the city.)
    - Since you are doing internet sales from your home, you have some flexibility with your schedule.

    Cons

-Job is 100% commission and pay is awful. Most people work 50/hrs per week to make an average of $300 week.
-Turnover is insane. New people come and go every 2 weeks.
-The product is good quality but expensive. This would be ok except that most of the customer leads are in working-class to poor areas. People who have been here a long time say the leads used to be better but the company lost those contracts.

    Advice to Management

    - Leadership responds to all concerns by essentially saying "the problem is your mindset. You need to be positive and work harder." I think the long hours and low pay account for the massive turnover, not people's attitudes.
