I worked at Mondelez International part-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

for the most part work independently, annual raise even if it's small, one of the few vendors left that pay mileage store to store not alot but, better than nothing

Cons

always talking about budget and hours like Nabisco is going out of business. time frames for working huge deliveries aren't in the real world, not many thank you's or good job is said

Advice to Management

stop using the budget crutch for hours for hourly employees, say thank you and good job more often even just out of the blue like you really do care about employees, remember mostly hourly employees have families to take care of so hours matter.

    Pros

Benefits and Company Car - honestly that is about it. Some of the best brands of cookies and crackers.

    Cons

RMS works 24/7. No work-life balance. Too complex and controlling. Employees are dispensable.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with respect and fix the work load and work/life balance problem. Provide employees with tools and technology to be able to excel at their job. Do what you say you are going to do.

I worked at Mondelez International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. Union keeps you paid well and protected. Not many places will pay you so good for general unskilled labor. coworkers were great people

    Cons

everything else. first year layoffs like crazy. they hire too many just to lay them off. They lay people off yet have tons of people working OT, constant shift changes, you get loaned out to other depts with no training and they expect you to know the job. Management cares about one thing: getting product out the door. even if it isnt up to standard, cracked, burnt, etc. they claim to care about safety and shove it down your throat meanwhile running at an unsafe speed and rushing everything and everyone. horrible HR dept! nobody knows their job. it's not what you know, it's who you know! If you dont work OT constantly, management couldnt care less about you. Favoritism based on race. white people come last based on fear.

    Advice to Management

Get a clue on how to treat people, and make sure your HR dept knows what they are doing.
