I worked at Money Management International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Got Hired to educate clients

    Cons

I agree with the other poster. Must be able to accept daily harassment and verbal abuse to meet sales goals. Definitely not employee friendly or customer friendly. Must call in sick 48 hours in advance of being sick. No calling sick the same day! Very rigid work environment. This is a dead end job. It appears that to be promoted to a supervisory position one must be able to display an aggressive behavior to coerce employees. Chances are your kids are treated with more dignity at school than you working for Money Management International. All that with a low pay!

    Advice to Management

As a company focused on financial education, Money management international bought a multi-million dollar complex in Sugar Land Texas in the middle of a recession and now they can't afford it. As a result of that blunder employees did not get a raise in 2011. It speaks volume on your ability to manage financial education and please treat your employees with more dignity than that. Now that the job market is opening up you will have a hard time keeping your best talents.

    Pros

    Ability to interact with clients

    Cons

Employees are micro managed, Employees are always wrong and guilty.Being professional is not enough, must be able to accept verbal abuse and harassment to keep a job. Non-profit organization focus on production rather than honest service to the client even though the company is funded by tax money and government grants.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees like cattle and start acknowledging your own mistakes rather than always blaming your hard working employees.
