I have been working at MoneyGram International full-time

    Pros

The teams we have are incredible and the relationships with the people we work with make coming to work a true pleasure.

    Cons

Upper management is newer and has been extremely involved in very low level details of projects. Specifically, conversations related to QA efforts, development work, conversations with partners that should be with the internal teams, etc.

On top of that: internal projects have been put completely on hold mid stream, indefinitely suspended, priorities completely changed (meaning rework) and it has crushed morale.

FTE's and contractors have been let go in droves and an untold amount of talent and capacity has disappeared with it.

    Advice to Management

To ELT: a budget-overage should not mean we remove talent to make shareholder numbers look good for Q4.

We are shooting ourselves in the foot with what will actually be delivered and how long it will take our products to go to market.
