I worked at MoneyGram International full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Average benefits and compensation, nice building.

Cons

MGI needs very long to go, before to call itsel as "international company" , the management act and think like a local small business, they are lack of communication, there is no accountabilty whatsoever. It is a company where projects are no well planned from one year to another like mature companies do.......they are coming from the sky with the approval of the CEO and it is a caos because the company does not have enough employees and system to really be efficient to implement this projects.

Advice to Management

They need to have a solid Blueprint to leadership..........and the CEO and her staff should focus on how tho change the company in a successful manner. Many people resign just out of a tremendous frustation.

I worked at MoneyGram International as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

-I really enjoyed the team I was working with, a diverse group that got along well.
-I was given a lot of responsibilities even as a contract worker.
-Opportunity to take on projects if motivated to seek them out.
    -Great experience with my supervisor
-Opportunities to work with charities regularly.

    Cons

-At times it seems to be a tired place.
    -Lots of turnover.
-Not a lot of corporate or upper level interaction with my team.
-Seemed too informal at times...employees could wear jeans every day if they gave a certain amount to a charity...I prefer more professional environment, but that's just me.

    Advice to Management

Engage with as many levels as you can.
