I have been working at Monsanto Company full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

The benefits are wonderful! Monsanto really cares about the safety and well-being of its employees by offering courses and resources for employees to access. Monsanto is also very active in the community and world-wide offering assistance to various charity organizations.

Cons

There are not many downsides of working at Monsanto. The only thing I can think of is that there are too many meetings and not enough time to get the work finished.

Advice to Management

Although I really admire and respect Upper Management, I think they are too removed from the day-to-day activities to really see the whole picture.

I worked at Monsanto Company as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Adoption of hot technologies.
Lax dress code and work hours.
    Work from home option.
    Plenty of vacation days.

    Cons

    Extreme levels of stress.
High expectations from contractors and employees.
Massive layoffs if economic conditions worsen.
Pay is average and doesn't match the level of work and dedication expected from employees and contractors.
Consultants and employees are expected to deliver from first join they join. This is not an exaggeration.
