    Pros

Regardless of the level you are at, if you're in a visible role, Monster will give you access to projects, roles and connections that would be unheard of at other companies. You'll take last minute trips to partners / retailers / events, sit in on product development and have direct access to what gets pushed out the door.

    Cons

Be ready for a non-stop job where everything must line up at all times. If you're in a client facing role (sales, marketing, product), your job won't stop, your phone can't be turned off and the project you think you completed will very change at the very last second. Even if you think you've worked hard before, you haven't "been a Monster".

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to make changes. Long term employees need to move around or go, otherwise the culture gets set in its ways and too wrapped up in what worked from the past.

I worked at Monster Inc as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many of the rank-and-file people that work there are quite nice and interesting. Many are in bands and have a good sense of humor about their working conditions.

    Cons

Cons are almost too many to mention. Respect for personal time is nonexistent. Respect and appreciation for jobs well done or going the extra mile completely absent. Everything- and I mean everything- is dysfunctional. Their loss of the goldmine "BEATS BY DRE" contract indicative of everything.

    Advice to Management

The owner's policy of surrounding himself with sycophantic yes-men is his policy for business development. The entire HQ is a photographic testament to Noel Lee's ego, featuring all the celebrities that worked with (but no longer) in some capacity of endorsement. Management made me return my signing bonus a year later because "things change." Yes. Things do change, and Monster will not likely be around much longer.
