    Pros

    1. Great place to learn new technologies related to database and data warehouse.
    2. Hands-on experience on one of the biggest Microsoft (SSIS and SSRS) data warehouse systems in the market.
    3. People are really talented and experienced, some of them are extremely helpful.
    4. Good for your resume.
    5. Good salary.

    Cons

    1. Please take political science courses before joining the company.
    2. Some people were really helpful but others are politicians and bootlickers.
    3. Don't question or give them new ideas to get things done effectively, just follow the orders and let things be the way they are. They may even steal your ideas and take the credit from you so beware.
    4. No bonuses, no promotions, no pay-raise, work/ life balance getting worse and no appreciation.

    Advice to Management

    1. Stop stealing credits from your subordinates and stop micro-managing. Some people need to get management training before promoting to management and higher positions.
    2. Try to resolve issues in a team rather than making it worse by favoritism.
    3. Encourage people with new ideas and creativity.
    4. If you remain deaf then surely you will learn it the hard way because most of the people have already left or leaving the team.

I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

the benefits that are offered are good. Good health ins, time off, 401k

    Cons

very unmotivating environment. pay plan is horrible. sounds great up front, and probably would be ok, but actually getting your checks on time is another thing. i generally miss a couple of commission checks, have to fight for the money, and some times get paid it a couple months later. position is boring and they don't do anything to help
