I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Great Co-Worker
Okay Benefits
Flexibilty of Time off
Good Location

Cons

No Accountability for actual time worked by employees.
Lack of real Management
Favoritism to some employees
Managers use internet inappropriately as do employees.
Sales people are give spiffs for things they should be doing as part of their normal jobs they are being paid to do.

Advice to Management

You need to make sure you employees are actually working and putting in the hours they claim on there time cards. There employees who come in at 10am leave at 4pm and take 2 hour lunches. You also have people claiming to be working and are actually on vacation with with the family or or friends.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Monster Worldwide (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent coworkers, cutting edge technology, ability to work with as much or as little supervision as you want in the field

    Cons

High sales quotas, leadership doesn't do a great job of messaging the strength of the technology, and they often put themselves before their employees, kind of a "when you get to our level you can have great perks like this too"

    Advice to Management

Sacrifice more. Give people under you perks that you DON'T get. Don't just listen to people who tell you what you want to hear.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good salary to start off with and good sales reps working around you. Most of your peers will help if you ask them to.

    Cons

The management is not personable and doesn't really care about their employees and actually helping them to succeed. They are strictly focused on hitting some unrealistic sales goals and hesitant to actually get on the phone and help the sales staff achieve those goals.

    Advice to Management

Focus on how you can help employees succeed instead of finding someone to blame for not achieving their sales goals.
