Approves of CEO

Pros

* Relaxed atmosphere, but people get their work done
* Flexible work schedule available depending on team/dept.
* Ability to work with teams of multiple disciplines within the company
* Decent support for continued learning, exploring careers within Monster

Cons

* Unclear career path for many job functions. Promotions are often self-invented positions or a move to different job function.
* Sales culture. Non-sales roles definitely take a backseat in rewards and compensation.
* Poor retention in some areas. Veteran employees often find themselves drastically underpaid for same role as new hires.

Advice to Management

Recommend salary review after 3-4 years to retain best talent.
Recommend addition to the review process -- supervisors to be rated by those they manage.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

multitasking environment - you won't get bored, convenient location (Tyson's), decent salaries - although they were very stingy last a couple of years on cash bonuses, office space is good if you get an office with a window.

    Cons

no recent 401k matching, somewhat disorganized but they have good relationships with clients and work just keeps piling up - although it's all manageable, badly planned and setup office space, especially cubicle areas and inside offices.

    Advice to Management

cleanup office space, pay a little more attention to employees (more spot bonuses, whatever other minor perks), don't be too stingy on US workers - you are working for US Government for God's Sake!

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

They are a well-known large global company with good benefits but beyond that there is not much good to say about working there.

    Cons

The management is quite poor; 3 new executive teams in just a few years and the latest seems to be the worst. Job stability is economy-driven. They are difficult to work with as a customer. Constant site issues. Very aggressive sales quotas.
