Former Employee - Dietary Aide in Arlington Heights, IL

    Pros

It can be nice interacting with the residents. Access to leftovers once the meals are over is a benefit I guess.

    Cons

Despite being an entry level job there is a slight learning curve to get into the rhythm of the routine. Experienced people finished their shift with time to spare while new people finished as the shift ended.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the management would probably increase the pay of the workers. The dietary aide is a lot of work for close to minimum wage.
