I worked at Morgan Stanley full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great Education--paid by the company
Potiential to make lots of money (If that's what floats your boat)

Cons

You might not make lots of money.
If you get out early--to work in a BANK for instance--they will sue you--and probably win
You might make a mistake that could cost you $$ or your license

Advice to Management

Quit this job. Life is too short to spend it ripping people off.

I have been working at Morgan Stanley full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

MS is a good place to get your start and learn the business. It's a reputable company and it looks good on your resume.

    Cons

You will find yourself working there for a few years without a raise. Promotions only occur once a year but you are not guaranteed a raise once you are promoted. You will do all the work of a superior level without the pay. If you transfer to a different department, it can only be a lateral move.
    This place is horrible.

    Advice to Management

You have to change your methodology. Everyone is quitting and going to companies that pay.

Lots of responsibility. Great learning ground to build technical skills and attention to detail.

    Cons

Highly correlated with the economy. Experience is variable based on industry / team.
