    Enormous potential, fantastic brand recognition, strong growth potential and forward thinking momentum

    Cons

    Absolutely no concept of the state of the company by the leadership. Ineffectual management of cost of doing business by leadership from all levels. Corporate is completely out of touch with budgets, blowing through financing that should be used at property level to deliver on the promises the global/corporate associates promise clients. There are absolutely no Standard Operating Procedures, EXTREME politics and interpersonal drama at the highest level affecting the ability of everyone to get anything done as people at the top clamor to prove their job worth and attempt to ingratiate themselves to those with power. High amount of duplication of efforts with essentially no coordination anywhere within the entire company. Utter chaos, complete stress, and a extreme regret on my resume.

    Advice to Management

    Reduce overhead costs, focus on cohesive strategy, enhance collaboration among properties and corporate. PROVIDE REPORTING THAT IS MEANINGFUL. Build standard operating procedures that are consistent across the entire company, and establish key points of contact for essential roll outs of any kind. Educate the senior leaders of the state of the budgets and the cost of their extravagant and reckless travel schedules. Hold people accountable for delivering what they were hired for. Fire those who don't measure up. Create an employee recognition program, and celebrate success. STOP TRYING TO BE RITZ CARLTON, YOU NEVER, EVER WILL BE AND NO ONE IN THE FIELD WILL LET YOU DO IT. You will lose everyone at the company the more you all push Ritz agenda, and no one from Ritz in their right mind would ever, ever, work on the property level. Only greedy, self absorbed delusional Ritz heritage people would want to work at this company. Also: get a CEO that isn't a spoiled child who was handed the company upon a family request, and get a real leader.

    fire people who don't perform
