I have been working at MutualBank full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The people that work her are great! They've been like my family for the last 5 years. They don't want you to push their products and services down customers throats, which makes it easier to do our job and to really know what to recommend to our customers to help them out.

Cons

I think that the pay could be a little better and also I don't believe their promotions are very fair. As soon as they have in mind who exactly they want, they don't take anyone else into consideration. At least with some managers.

Advice to Management

Really look at your employees accomplishments before promoting. It seems as if people get promoted just because they are friends of the managers.

I have been working at MutualBank full-time

    Pros

Great benefits: Vacation, paid doctor's appointments, 401k, ESOP. Friendly, team environment. Great products. VERY easy to have a free checking. Rates are competitive. Uchoose Rewards is great. Offers big bank products with small bank service.

    Cons

Upper management. You cannot sit on your hands while one of your most important departments loses employee after employee after employee and ignore what the real problem is: their manager. You are losing extremely valuable assets because of a single person.

Raises leave a LOT to be desired. A fixed 3% raise would be great if we made decent money to begin with.

    Advice to Management

    Please stop the favoritism.
