Pros

The pay is good and co-workers were great. The actual work is great for the pay.

Cons

Upper management is very unprofessional and retaliates against employee for being truthful. Company does not have an unbiased HR Department. There is no accountability for upper management.

Advice to Management

Be as professional as you want your employees to be. No discrimination. Be able to accept constructive criticism.

    Negative Outlook

    I worked at N. Glantz & Son full-time

    Pros

Good salary $50k, $6k car allowance plus gas card. Company laptop and phone. Good people at the branch. Customers were mostly pleasant. National sales meeting is a good time and provides some good vendor training.

    Cons

No 401k match. Bonuses are meager. New hire training is non-existent in an industry that has thousands of competing products. Company has a 5 year organic growth plan while the competition is buying up the regional competition. Distribution is inefficient and slow compared to the competition. Company is known for having the highest prices.

    Advice to Management

Bring in some outside investment and speed up the 5 year plan. Don't pretend to be a national company if you only cover small parts of the country.
