Pros

It was a great working environment at NBC Universal. I worked for a Owned and Operated station and was pushed to explore how to best use content online for our viewers. I got to work on exciting projects and the benefits were great.

Cons

Some people at the station had been in the television industry for a long time and were slow to adopt new ways of distributing of content, or new ways to connect with viewers online.

I have been working at NBCUniversal full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay for management, some company perks. Fast paced environment. Working on the lot you see lots of action.

    Cons

Lots of revisions and back and forth can leave you frustrated. Work load isn't challenging just lots of it. Feels like a big university so it makes it hard to stand out.

    Advice to Management

Promote culture within the team and sponsor incentives for great work (ie take employees out to lunch, get dinner for employees working late etc). Give more recognition to employees for going the extra mile.
