      Working for a good cause

      Benefits cost a lot of money, NCIRE supports labs but has nothing to do with happens inside of them, PIs can do whatever they want, no community, everyone is on their own island.

      Pros

      Remote work has been good. Honestly I don’t know that much about benefits despite working there for a while.

      Cons

      You don’t get to know others at NCIRE in particular. Mostly remote work, which makes sense because we’re all at different labs.
