      Current Employee - Temporary Employee

I have been working at NPR full-time for less than a year

      Pros

Great building, Tiny Desks, thoughtful editors, camaraderie.

      Cons

I've known people who have been temps for over 5 years. It's unfair.

      Positive Outlook

I worked at NPR for less than a year

      Pros

Good leadership, great place to work in order to level up in the journalism industry.

      Cons

Only one editor who really oversees interns so you don't get input from a lot of different people. Also unpaid and gas is not reimbursed.
