I have been working at NYU (New York University) full-time

    Pros

Great brand, perfect for tuition remission, and you can learn a lot. The name will open doors in the future.

    Cons

Things and ideas may move slowly, it's a big institution.

  2. "Good for parents and tuition remission but less rewarding for the in-betweens"

I have been working at NYU (New York University) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

humane! 7 hour work days, lots of vacation and generally great coworkers

    Cons

a structured advancement process that rewards time rather than performance. great for parents for work/life balance and 90-100% tuition remission but for others less incentive to stay after the work becomes routine.

    Advice to Management

advice to HR would be to get feedback on the higher ups driving the work culture. there are poor leaders running the show and acting untouchable (even tyrannical)...this diminishes employee enthusiasm and innovation.
