Pros

Super fun work environment. Got to take breaks and play games. Got to go outside and play football for breaks. Monthly meetings-super fun.

Cons

Tried to make you believe that everything was all about the student-but it's truly all about the numbers and getting anyone you talk to in the door. The cost of the school is outrageous for the type of education you are getting. Lots of students ended up quitting and then having huge bills they could not afford.

Advice to Management

I advise that NAU re-structures a lot of things. It should not be a for-profit private institution. But, if that is what it's going to be-then you better get the infrastructure, teaching staff, curriculum, and accreditation improved to be charging students how much you are charging.

    Pros

NAU (HQ) has a decent pay scale implemented and on-site food vendors available. There are pockets of great people, but you definitely need to find a "clique" to really become integrated or you won't get as much as a "Good Morning". People know their work and it is well defined what responsibilities are expected. If you don't pull your weight then you get pulled out.

    Cons

There is a lack of community in the organization. Management is can be so hands off that they don't exist, and won't get involved enough to give you the tools necessary to do your job.

    Advice to Management

Good people are leaving, because they can go where they will be appreciated. If they don't feel that there are defined career paths for them and that management cares, employees will seek greener pastures.
