    Pros

They provided flexibility to work around your schedule in my position, good matching on 401k and pension. Severance package was better than most, overall it was a pretty good experience for 9 years.

    Cons

New management is killing the company. To restrictive to a our way or the highway mentality. Upper management surrounded themselves with a complete group of "yes" men and women. Lost touch with the sales force and if there is no business coming in, then......

    Advice to Management

I would say its probably to late, but focuse on people who will provide you the real answers and get the sales force engaged again.

  2. "Traditional, conservative; small bank trying to act like one of the big boys"

    Pros

Traditional, conservative; small bank trying to act like one of the big boys. Decent place to work though if you're not super aggressive and need a nice work/life balance.

    Cons

Any positives that NCB had has now taken a large step back (operationally, compensation-wise, technologically, etc.) due to an even more primitive, conservative PNC Financial.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to talent - not just tenure
