I worked at National Endowment for the Arts

    Pros

I interned at the NEA in summer of 2017. The departments were small and filled with people who really cared about the work. Interns are given meaningful work and are viewed as part of the team. I still stay in touch with my supervisors--they provided me so much support when I was looking for a full time job after completing my BA.

    Cons

The change in administration was a huge source of stress for everyone on staff.

I worked at National Endowment for the Arts for more than a year

    Pros

    - great exposure to art industry - friendly staff - get to listen to some cool speakers, events

    Cons

    - not enough work - often doing paperwork that does not enhance learning - no one is really in charge, no hierarchy

    Advice to Management

Only need 1 intern per discipline
