    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at National Library of Medicine full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Lots of really interesting work happening. Lots of very capable people.

    Cons

Typical government bureaucracy issues. But probably better than most agencies.

    Advice to Management

Flatten hierarchies when possible and engage more with your younger staff.

    Approves of CEO

I have been working at National Library of Medicine part-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The learning experience I've received from working at NIH. I started with work experience for the position I was hired. For past 12 years I've become an expert employee in field i'm in because of the team effort and hands training.

    Cons

The downfalls are when the work equipment breaks down.

    Advice to Management

I am a team player and quick trainee. everyone teach one. It provides high moral in the work place.

I worked at National Library of Medicine

    Pros

Freedom to choose a research problem and work on it. Work on your own phase and not much pressure or high workload. You can enjoy working there and also learn.

    Cons

Sometimes you will feel that you are slow in working progress but this basically because this lab is more focused on academia.
