Pros

The owners of NMC treat the employees very well. Besides the 'regular' benefits (401k, HSA, tuition reimbursement, etc.), the company has an entire week dedicated to employee recognition (waterslides, games, party). Also, the kitchen was stocked every week with fresh fruit, oatmeal, granola bars, breakfast bars, etc.

Cons

Not a lot of 'diversity'. Basically, all of the higher-ups are white men. There was one Indian in the IT department (in a city with a high Indian population) and I cannot think of a single black man who worked there.

I worked at National Motor Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The dress code is very laid back. Great Benefits like healthcare and free roadside assistance.

    Cons

Very High School like atmosphere. That the management participates in. Very hard to move up within because management likes to play favorites. They also may fire for not participating in company gossip.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. Hire managers that actually want to do their job and help the corporation. Being on the phones was dreadful enough. Didn't need higher ups making me hate the work environment on top of it.
