Pros

I have been working for National Scouting Report Home Office for 24 years this next March. I have to admit, it was a transition job. I was in the dental field, and needed a break from that, so I went to work for NSR, to take that break. Well, I have had a very long 24-year break from dentistry. I immediately fell in love with my job, and never looked back. Over the last 24 years this company has really changed as far as how things are done (we now have the internet), but the one thing that has never changed is the desire to help student athletes. I think that is the reason I fell in love with my job. I have children and want them to succeed and being able to go to work every day and help student athletes succeed and see them go on to play college athletics and some even professional athletics is so rewarding. I love talking to kids and parents when they call into the office. Sometimes to ask a question, but sometimes just to tell us of something wonderful that has happened. It makes my day. I feel like part of the family. I can say that NSR is one big family, that being our office staff, our scouts, our athletes and families. We all have one goal and that is to get that athlete on a team and help them live their dream. I know it sounds cheesy, but when you love what you do, it’s not really a job.

Cons

Need to scouts to help more kids.
