Pros

Unique B2B nonprofit with potential to do much to advance its mission to provide the scientific basis for biodiversity conservation.

Cons

Underappreciated and strapped for resources, in part because of the difficulties in overhauling a quirky business model inherited from its initial role as a scientific support center for the Nature Conservancy.

Advice to Management

Counting staff hours month-to-month is no way to run a business

It pays non-executives very low. The organization itself and many people working here have financial struggles.
