Pros

It's a consulting company. If you're consulting and bring in your numbers you'll get ahead.

Cons

It's a consulting company, operations have little to no upward mobility, promotions, or salary increases.

Advice to Management

If you're on the consulting side, it's a good place to work. Everyone else, just know what you're getting into.

I have been working at Navigant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training is taken very seriously and offered
During recruitment every thing is handled professionally
If you are a golfer you will have ample opportunity to play in tournaments

    Cons

Very weak benefit package - the only non-copay health insurance I have ever experienced
    Weak vacation/non-insutry standard for vacation
    Male/sports oriented culture
Employees told to cold call in their spare time to sell work
I was told by 2 other former employees not to even consider this co - it is churn and burn - I didn't listen, thought it would be different in my practice

    Advice to Management

Salaries are consistent with the industry although I understand that is recent but the benefit package will not excite anyone except possibly new grads who can remain on their parent's health insurance

I have been working at Navigant full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people at lower levels

    Cons

Zero work life balance on some projects, very hard to transition off of them if they are profitable for the firm

    Advice to Management

Reward your top performers better, encourage more project rotation - that's why people go into consulting.
