I have been working at Nestlé Purina full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

1. A part of the world largest food company, Nestle, which offers opportunities to develop career internationally.
2. Many personal development classes offered internally.
3. With high job security and job satisfaction, many employee work in the company for 20+ years.
4. The company offered competitive benefits ( e.g. 401k and pension plans);
5. Family and pet friendly working environment is plus.

Cons

No concerns except the downtown location.

Advice to Management

1. Increase transparency in career ladders to minimize dead-end positions.

2. Use more digital media for job posting and let the hiring managers involved early in the process, felt like that we have depended too much on recruiters who may not have a good understanding on some of positions, especially in the technical area .

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Nestlé Purina as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are generally nice. Pay is very good for what you are doing. Lots of perks working for nestle.

    Cons

Conservative culture. Claim to have female leadership but the sales team is lead by old white men who have no idea what is going on. They want employees fitting in with the company and not standing out. The people who succeed sacrifice their life for the company. Being mobile and having no social life will get you far.

    Advice to Management

Stop being anti intellectual, ultra conservative, and playing favorites.
