I worked at Nestlé full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Excellent pay, Great benefits package, 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks vacation to start 30 days after 5 years.

Cons

Long hours standing, dog eat dog atmosphere, managers driven by higher bonus's restrict breaks

Advice to Management

monitor your line leads better. sends leads for sensitivity training, you leads are only concerned with making their bonus for the quarter and they tend to slave drive prep weigher's.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It a strong company, where you could get a lot of experience and a lot of people recognize.

    Cons

The company say that is fair evaluating employees, but the reality is their are not. You may over achieved your goals but one mistake would put you in the back of the bus. Management have this idea that everything have to 100% perfect when they are not. Also, Not all promotions are base in performance, if you are in the NSDP you would be fine, even if you are the biggest incompetent . You get a mentor, that is probably a manager or a senior executive, and the only thing you need to do is sit down an look pretty, in a year or 2 they promote you. Also the salary is really low.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly people, good opportunities, ok compensation, pension, company car.

    Cons

The work isn't right for me. It's very difficult to stay motivated when you never see your boss. Also, advancement was made very difficult by having 4 different bosses in 2 1/2 years.

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of advancing people based on what they're actually doing, not just what they tell you they're doing.
