    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Nestlé USA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Nice people, mostly
    - Well-known brands
    - Strong sales force
    - Good résumé-builder
    - Decent benefits, but likely to get cut based on Paul Grimwood's track record running the U.K.

    Cons

    - Paternalistic leadership
    - looks better on your résumé than the actual experience you'll get
    - Senior management who lack the initiative to weed out under-performing Directors, leaving the levels beneath as revolving doors
    - Mediocre marketing
    - Lack of innovation
    - The focus on the consumer is lip service
    - Out-dated brand portfolio
    - The delusional belief that it's a nutrition, health and wellness company
    - Cost-cutting mentality with ever-increasing volume goals
    - Arrogant, disrespectful CEO, Paul Grimwood
    - New largely ex-pat senior leadership team (I'd never seen a senior-level ex-pat do well in the U.S. market at Nestlé, as demonstrated by sales performance, brand health metrics, etc).
    - no room for advancement due to flat structure and culture (see next point)
    - Culture of focusing on your faults (if you do 9 things fantastically well, they will focus on the 1 thing that you do not)
    - favoritism over competency is the management philosophy
    - elimination of casual Friday

    Advice to Management

Learn the U.S. market, respect your employees, get off the petty things that destroy morale
