No opinion of CEO

I worked at Nestlé USA full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great portfolio of products and brands. Good benefits. Work from home, make your own schedule, great as entry level job or for recent college grads with ability to relo, very friendly people.

Cons

Monotonous work, must be willing to relocate for advancement, process/system of recording sales not consistent…therefore some individuals rewarded for inflated numbers. Review / merit increases not reflective of scorecard and quantifiable results

Advice to Management

Get to truly know the work your employee's are doing and reward / promote the deserving, actions should speak louder than words or self inflated success stories.

I have been working at Nestlé USA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Good pay and benefits (lots of health insurance options, pension and 401k, can borrow PTO before you earn it)
-Opportunities to move basically anywhere in the country (if you work in a factory)
-The corporate HQ in California is nice--great cafeteria and an on-site gym

    Cons

-Very, very bureaucratic; when I started working here they claimed the company was flat, but experience has proven otherwise
-Senior management makes decisions without actually considering the needs and capabilities of the factories
-Always a "do more with less" attitude

    Advice to Management

Please do your research before implementing changes or projects for the factories. The perception is that Nestle's senior leadership is very disconnected from how things in the factories actually are, and it really drives down morale.
