    Approves of CEO

I worked at NetApp full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Well respected in the industry. Solid salary packages with competitive benefits

    Cons

With growth comes challenges in recruiting and developing solid middle management through Director level staff. To often managing up became the goal for success while mentoring, nurturing, and training staff was overlooked.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at NetApp as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

People are smart and generally very nice. I was with a team full of awesome personalities and a boss that was honest and listened to me.

    Cons

People do not always think of all stakeholders in mind with projects that impact literally the entire company. Company is quite hierarchical and the team I was a part of always worked long hours. As an intern, it was hard to learn outside of my role because although people were open to the idea of you doing something else, no one had the time to train you.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate information and stay transparent!
