Pros

It's a small, tight-knit company with good intentions.

Cons

There's lots of gossiping at all levels of the company. There's a lack of process to streamline and empower employees & customers.

Advice to Management

Leads have a very short self-life. So immediacy of delivery to the customer is not a nice to have, but a necessity for success. So batching up leads and sending later is not an option. Leads should be delivered real-time and ensuring that the customer also has a process to make sure the leads are processed to the correct recipient quickly should be part of the on-boarding of the client. This way you help the customer make the most of the leads and get a good ROI. In turn, you'll get that customer's loyalty.

    Pros

    - Many large clients
    - Room to grow, but you have to push for it yourself
    - Casual work environment
    - Flexible hours
    - Modern health/dental/vision benefits
    - Weekly fruit / Monthly happy hour

    Cons

    - Little innovation, old backend
    - Lower than average pay
    - Very limited (practically no) telecommute options
    - Monthly forced PTO (could be a pro)
    - Few holidays (week off Christmas to NYE is good)

    Advice to Management

    It is getting better, but a lot of the recent changes should have been done much sooner (SEO, site redesign, mobile). Aim for where things are going, not where they are now.

    I worked at NetLine full-time

    Pros

    The company really values its employees; great benefits are offered, generous vacation time is given, flexible schedules and there is the option to telecommute (providing your manager approves it). Most employees are willing to help new employees learn and explain their departments function and their individual role within the company.
    The location is great, right next to Vasona, so it's nice to go walking on your lunch break.
    If you are willing to learn and take on new responsibilities over time you will be rewarded.

    Cons

    It can be gossipy at times.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure that a majority of the production department isn't gone at the same time since that can slow production down for everyone.
