    I worked at Neuberger Berman full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    access to intelligent portfolio managers and company research

    Cons

    growth potential is extremely limited; career mobility appears to be a fallacy and is not supported by managers. there is a lot of subtle racism within middle management, often times favoritism being shown towards "the good ol' boys". many of the client facing roles are in groups that are chauvinistic and overtly sexist, with grossly inappropriate behavior that is ignored by management. this is a company where you should spend no more than 1-2 years to simply get a name on your resume, then pack up and move on.

    Advice to Management

    promote talent from within and you will build a strong company with a strong future.
